22RE brings clubhouse intimacy to Malbon Golf's new flagship store

A flagship store trades sportswear gloss for the warmth of a private clubhouse, with leather, brass and low lamplight doing the talking.
The brief asked for retail; the answer is closer to a lounge. Display rails are kept sparse, framed by panelled walls and a floor of aged parquet that creaks pleasantly underfoot.
Brass fittings and oxblood leather seating borrow from the language of a members' bar, signalling belonging rather than transaction. Product is treated as wardrobe, hung and folded as if in a private dressing room.

Lighting stays deliberately low, pooling around the goods and leaving the edges of the room in soft shadow. The effect flatters both the product and the person considering it.
